Christopher Chew

Christopher Chew is an accomplished professional actor whose recent credits include A Little Night Music, Sunday in the Park With George , Sideshow (Lyric Stage Company of Boston); Johnny Guitar (Speakeasy Stage Company); Lizzie Borden, A Christmas Carol (Stoneham Theatre); and The Spitfire Grill (Skylight Opera Theatre, American Folklore Theatre & Lyric Stage).  Chris is member of Actors' Equity Association, the union for professional actors in the United States.  In addition to sharing artistic leadership of Village Theatre Project, Chris oversees the theatre's youth programs, having created and supervised highly successful youth programs throughout the state, including theatre arts programs at Stoneham Theatre, and Chelmsford and Tyngsboro Public Schools.  As an educator, Chris is an active participant with Massachusetts High School Drama Guild and Massachusetts Teachers Association, and was nominated for Massachusetts Teacher of the Year. Chris received a BFA from Carnegie Mellon School of Drama and an MA in Teaching from Fitchburg State College, and currently teaches drama for Tyngsboro Public Schools.
